Xylose Lysine Deoxycholate Agar 

A selective medium recommended for the isolation and enumeration of Salmonella species from pharmaceutical products in accordance with microbiological  standards. Recommended as a selective medium for the isolation and enumeration of Salmonella Typhi and other Salmonella species from pharmaceutical products. Salmonella colonies appear red coloured with black centres.
