MARKETING SPECIALIST

We are in need for a Marketing Specialist. Your job will be to be marketing Ghana Medicals on social media and other channels that is suitable, as radio ads, banner ads etc. Ghana Meidcals is experiencing substantial growth and want to reach out to the general public, as well as health clinics, hospitals and representatives for the health workers in general.

Your qualifications: Thourough knowledge of setting up feeds with products via Pixels or Tags, connecting with potential customers and setting up campaigns that is targeting potential customers, abandoned carts etc. via Google Merchant Center and also Facebook business Center. We prefer that you can work from home/your own office and we have a fixed price based on our budget and results, The terms can be negotiated with the correct candidate for us. We have knowledge about the processes so for you to get started is going to be easy. What we want is someone to maintain and set up everything for us so we can get as high a conversion rate as possible.

We target Ghana as our main market, but are also looking to expand further in the region.

Sonographer 

Locum:  We are looking for a Sonographer to join our team in  providing ultrasound diagnostic services to our clients in Tamale. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Selecting the appropriate ultrasound settings and adjusting the patients’ positions accordingly
  2. Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and making adjustments to the ultrasound machine when necessary
  3. Writing ultrasound reports in a clear and understandable way
  4. Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures
  5. Ensuring proper documentation and maintain patients’ medical records
  6. Maintain and clean the ultrasound machine before and after use

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience (at least two years) as a Sonographer or similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and patient service skills
  • Must have relevant training and/or certifications as a Sonographer
  • Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Ghana and in good standing

Remuneration: by agreement

Medical Laboratory Scientist

We are looking for a Medical laboratory Scientist to join our team in  providing medical laboratory services to our clients in Tamale. 

Responsibilities: In addition to ensuring the accuracy of lab results in a timely manner, your responsibilities include but not limited to:  

  1. Calibrating and operating a semi automated clinical chemistry analyzer
  2. Maintaining quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance.
  3. Providing test results for patient diagnosis and treatment by operating the chemistry equipment.
  4. Conducting haematology, urinalysis and parasitology tests for patients
  5. Maintains patient confidence by keeping laboratory information confidential.

Skills and requirements

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • BSc or HND/equivalent certification  in medical technology/Biochemistry
  • At least 2 years of medical laboratory experience required
  • Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Ghana and be of good standing
