Typhoid Home Test kit

Typhoid fever or enteric fever is caused by Salmonella typhi.  ingestion of food or drink contaminated by the faeces or urine of infected people leads to the transmission of typhoid fever.  Infected persons usually develop symptoms between 1–3 weeks after ingestion of contaminated food, and symptoms may be mild or severe. Symptoms can be mild or severe and may include:

•  high fever
• malaise
• headache
• constipation or diarrhoea
• rose-coloured spots on the chest and
•  enlarged spleen and liver.

Principle of the test is based on immunochromatography for the qualitative determination of typhoid gG/IgM antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma.
