Test interpretation:
(Note that the coloured control line (C) must always appear to show that your test is valid).
POSITIVE: Two lines appear. One coloured line should be in the control line region (C) and another
apparent coloured line should be in any of the test line region for HIV and SYP indicating either HIV or Syphilis positive. Note that, any shade of colour in the test line region should be considered positive. Three colour lines appear. One colour should be in the control region (C) and two apparent colours should appear separately in the regions indicating both HIV and Syphilis positive.
NEGATIVE: One coloured line appears in the control line region (C). No line appears in the test line regions for HIV and SYP.
INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedural techniques
are the most likely reasons for control line failure.
