H. Pylori Rapid Antigen Test (Feces)

A rapid chromatographic  immunoassay for  the qualitative detection of H. pylori antigens in fecal specimens of patients. For the diagnosis of H. pylori in patients with symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases, including duodenal and gastric ulcer, non-ulcer dyspepsia and active and chronic gastritis.

You will receive:

• 1 x H. pylori Antigen test cassette pouched
• 1 x Specimen collection tube with extraction buffer solution, a cap and collection applicator
• 1 x Dropper

Test Procedure:

1. Collect enough quantity of feces (1-2g) in a clean, dry specimen container and perform the test within 6 hours of collection.
2. Unscrew the cap of the specimen collection tube  with buffer
3.  Stab the specimen at different sites with the applicator at least three times to collect about a quarter of a pea size feces into the specimen collection tube containing the extraction  buffer solution
4. Tighten the cap and shake the tube vigorously to mix the specimen and the buffer
5. Wait for 2 minutes
6. Remove the H. pylori test cassette from the pouch and perform the test immediately for best results, or within one hour
7. Put  two drops of the mixture into the specimen well (S) by inverting the collection tube or by using a dropper.
8. Read results after 10 minutes. Do not read results after 20 minutes.
